Essentially stealing content, but I trimmed it down to the top 10. This is the class of 2023, so these guys are still sophs or juniors.
1. Jalen Hooks, Crispus Attucks The 6-7 Hooks ... averaging 11.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.0 blocked shots per game for the 14-3 Tigers. Hooks has offers from DePaul, Illinois and Xavier.
2. Ashton Williamson, Gary 21st Century Williamson, a 6-2 guard, transferred from Calumet in the middle of his sophomore year, but has not yet played at his new school. He averaged 11.3 points, 5.2 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 2.7 steals as a freshman at Calumet.
3. JaQualon Roberts, Bloomington North The 6-7 Roberts is averaging 12.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. He has interest from Indiana, Miami of Ohio, Kansas State and others. Sophomore.
4. Xavier Booker, Cathedral The 6-10 Booker is averaging 3.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocked shots per game. Lefty.
5. Joey Hart, Linton-Stockton The 6-5 guard is averaging 14.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.7 blocked shots per game while shooting 73% on 2-point attempts, 36% on 3-pointers and 82% percent from the free-throw line. Hart already has offers from Indiana State and New Orleans.
6. Logan Imes, Zionsville The 6-4 guard averaging 13.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. His shooting numbers (43% overall and 29% from 3-point line) will improve.
7. Jermaine Coleman, Park Tudor The 6-7 Coleman has improved as a sophomore. He is averaging 10.0 points and 5.0 rebounds and had January games of 16 and 18 points.
8. Darrion Brooks, New Haven The 6-5 Brooks is averaging 12.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game as a sophomore. Brooks is the younger brother of Keion Brooks Jr.
9. Mason Jones, Valparaiso The 6-7 Jones is averaging 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and shooting 45% from the field. Jones is 6-for-13 from the 3-point line.
10. Qu’Shawn Ware, Crispus Attucks The 6-5 Ware has been a bit slowed by a heel injury as a sophomore, averaging 6.1 points and 2.5 rebounds in 11 games. Ware showed he can shoot it as a freshman, averaging 9.3 points and shooting 36% (38-for-106) from the 3-point line.
