Today is the first official day that basketball recruits can sign a letter of intent. Hope to get Trey and Emmette officially onboard this week. Hopefully a couple more great recruits will be right behind them in the near future. www.nationalletter.org/signingDates/index.htmlGo Aces!!!

Levitch started 33 games at IUPU-Ft. Wayne as a Soph before transferring to Asheville.....not sure why he transferred. Did not play much there after sitting out a year for transfer.

With the three additions if I’m right UE has one more available scholarship?

With the three additions if I’m right UE has one more available scholarship? That's correct - if no one else leaves.
Only 6'7 so not really a solution at center. He did hit some threes at IPFW. But even there he didn't set the world on fire.

The one positive is he does appear to be able to shoot.

I like all the signings I think TL is getting his type kids I definitely think the style of play will change. Levitch should be a role player with one year of eligibility. With the roster we have I think we definitely can compete in conference. There is still a lot of unknown with this team but it should definitely be more stable and I see TL as an asset not an ass. I look forward to the future!

He looks like another project. We don't need another stinking project. Looks like a complete waste of a valuable scholarship to me. He won't get us out of Thursday, or probably last place for that matter. Very disappointing.

He’s a 1-year rental. That’s all.

The goal of each recruiting class should be to improve play at each position to move the program forward with the incoming recruit. Last year's team lacked size and shooting. I feel we got some shooting help with these three recruits combined with our Nebraska transfer that came to UE in December. What we are still lacking is the big guy, the 5, which can make a good team a great team. Yes, I know, join the party because this is a want most teams need and most teams do not have. I am sure it is still a priority for the coaching staff. Another thing to think about..lets put things in perspective..Last year we were 0-18 in conference play and 0-1 in St Louis and we had three coaches. As fans we all want the moon and 3 and 4 star recruits up and down the list but last year was last year and we have gone now 20+ years without a post season tournament that begins with N. Until we get back there (I believe we have the coaching staff that can get us there) we are not going to be at the top of many recruits list. Sure, we have all the other positives and there are many, but this is the one negative we have to get behind us asap. We have terrific fans who have remained loyal and hopeful last year. We have some good players coming back. We have some promosing recruits. We have some experience. We will hopefully have only one head coach next year. So, there is only one way to go next year and that is up. Go Aces !

Well said. I 100% agree. Being negative doesn’t fix anything or help anybody.
