I would rather read a post on players that we are offering instead of coaches following on Twitter. Just my opinion. Coaches are intentionally staying quiet with the recruiting offers this off season, so I hope you enjoy reading nothing then. Outside of Ben announcing his offer hours before his commitment, I have yet to see a recruit actually tweeting that we’ve offered. I believe Brock Vice tweeted his offer from us. But your point is well taken as you are spot on.

There were a number of them. JQ Roberts announced his offer by UE before he committed to Vanderbilt. I will admit that many occurred in 2022.

I think they shifted their approach for portal season for some reason. Like you said, there were plenty of high school juniors and seniors who tweeted about an offer, but so far no portal targets have besides the two commits.
You don’t see too many transfers tweeting about offers anyways though. Most just tweet an “interested teams” list, but even then, there are very few that are doing that and mentioning UE. Rags Said in his interview with Anthony a few weeks ago that it was an intentional strategy though. Not sure I buy the first year staff of a 6 win team being known as great talent evaluators and needing to keep their pursuits quiet, but that’s what they’re telling us is going on at least.

I have no real idea on who is looking at social media other than, I have limited myself to the parts that don't include arguments over guns/God/government/sexual orientation. But seems to me, selling the sizzle is a lot of it. It might not lure a player, but it will increase visibility. The part about offers is something that I don't fully grasp. I'd need to see the "official" version of an offer and what it includes.
