It certainly appears that we should be pushing hard to get this guy as well as his teammate Gorianski. Could this be the “something big” Marcus was talking about?

Landing these two leaves only one to get, an experienced PG.

Call it what you want to call it. I am a long time(65+ years) Aces fan who is as frustrated as everyone else with our program over the last 20 years+. I am very impressed with our new athletic director and associate athletic director as well as Rags and the rest of his staff and supporting cast. I am excited about several of the most recent mentions because they would meet our most glaring remaining recruiting needs - point guard and big. Krass appears to have similar high school credentials as Bailey in addition to being very team oriented and passionate. Boykin has D1 experience and brings qualities that were sorely missing last year. Gorianski is a seven footer who appears to be relatively mobile with a long wing span and last but not least Adesipe is a Juco All American. If we get even 2 out of 4 I think it would raise the ranking of our recruiting class and bring results next year that we all want to see. Go Aces!

Have we been officially linked to recruiting Blessing Adesipe besides that our coaching staff is following his teammate on Twitter?

Maybe the teammate of Gorianskii also has a cousin with a friend who could help us. It's worth discussing.
When in Aces history has a recruit ever brought along a teammate buddy? I'm drawing a blank. And would it be a good thing to have the conjoined players entering the portal together after their Aces redshirt years?

I’ve been around Aces basketball for a long time too. I saw my first game as a kid at the Armory. I have to say I am most pleased with the nonplayer side of the program. They have a very good handle on what is needed and the players that can help get them there.
Rags could say they are recruiting all the top 50 HS players and the same for those entering the portal but that makes no sense when they have no chance of getting almost all of them. They have done a good job of identifying those players they have a chance to get who can help the program.
It’s obvious that like many of us on this forum the coaches have identified many from last years team who cannot advance the Aces forward in the future and have removed them one way or another.
Of those names of players targeted that have been disclosed or leaked it shows they are after obtainable athletes. Combine those with the ones we have already signed that they are off to a pretty good start. The coaches are not slow walking this rebuild.
The big kid from Ireland seems like a typical big we get at UE. There are lots of guards in the portal and the JUCO all American sounds like an interesting addition.
We have to walk before we can run. I think we are off to a fast trot.

Have we been officially linked to recruiting Blessing Adesipe besides that our coaching staff is following his teammate on Twitter? He follows Coaches Ragland, Snow, and Wilson on social media….Coach Snow follows him back. Looks like coaches from 50+ NAIA/D2/D1 schools follow him

I think it's fun that coaches follow players who follow them back. It's a free minute to follow somebody. But we can't just keep saying that everyone who is mentioned is "the guy we need to get" because we need a "big" and a "point guard."
OK ... the shiny object today is a guy named Blessing.
It was never the Doctor.
Expect a chuckle when every recruit is combined with "this is the guy Rags needs to get because ........ blah blah I've been a fan for XXX decades and ...................."

Have we been officially linked to recruiting Blessing Adesipe besides that our coaching staff is following his teammate on Twitter? Craig Snow is the only UE coach I see following Blessing on Twitter. Craig follows quite a few prospects, both current and future. Marcus also has quite a few players he has connections to. It's usually a good indicator of significant interest when you see 3 coaches following, especially when Rags joins in (as is the case with Gorianskii). On occasion, Ziggy and Logan Belz will join in on a follow. Dylan Chavez, for instance, has Rags, Marcus, Craig, Rose, Ziggy, and Anthony following him, along with his buddy, Michael Day. Brock Vice has Marcus, Craig, Ziggy, Logan, and Anthony following. Tanner Thomas has Craig and Marcus following. It's certainly not an exact science on discovering recruiting interest, outside of the coaches just telling us! :-)

I would rather read a post on players that we are offering instead of coaches following on Twitter. Just my opinion.

I would rather read a post on players that we are offering instead of coaches following on Twitter. Just my opinion. Coaches are intentionally staying quiet with the recruiting offers this off season, so I hope you enjoy reading nothing then. Outside of Ben announcing his offer hours before his commitment, I have yet to see a recruit actually tweeting that we’ve offered.
