Verbal commits lists him as a former walk on and only has Seattle listed on his page. Late bloomer I’m guessing.

Wonder why he didn’t play last year?

A walk-on at Seattle in the WAC? I hope he's a late bloomer and not just a recruit body to fill a roster. His highlight videos show a decent set shot, good passing ability, but not a lot of athleticism. At least he would be a 4-year player rather than a 1-year stop gap.

Wow here we go again. I sure was hoping we would recruit better players out of the portal than a NAIA middle of the road player and now a walk on from Seattle who does not look all that impressive. Seems we are just filling out the roster with players that don’t appear to be better than those that left. I really hope we don’t offer this guy but since he is here on a visit not much chance of that. I also hope this isn’t the “something big” that Marcus was tweeting about.

He seems to be able to find the basket from all angles. Looks like he has a pretty good outside shot when he gets set. He plays defense!!
At his age most boys have a couple of inches of growth yet to come so he might develop into a pretty good 6-9 or 6-10 player. Since UE is rumored to be looking for another wing man with some size we might be looking at another commitment real soon. Hence Wilson’s gif post.
After thought. He would fit right in with Gage if he would get some white headbands. 😆

We need some guys that were rated highly out of Highschool and haven’t seen minutes on a P5 bench or some guys that are in the portal with proven D1 production. Not walk ons from lesser leagues. Maybe this guys a diamond in the rough, but there really isn’t any information out there on the internet about him. That’s pretty rare for good players in this day and age. I have a hard time convincing myself he’d be an upgrade over the guys that left. I’ll be very disappointed if that’s what Marcus tweet was about, but I think he’s self aware and social media savvy enough to not tweet that unless we were potentially going to sign a true game changer.

Maybe he comes as a walkon or Bobe gives up scholarship or something creative. Lots of ways in new world order to make the system work for you. There are many NCAA team rosters that have 15 players and they all aren’t 6-1 walkons from the local high schools. There is a lot of creative roster building moves with NIL, academic scholarships, etc..

It’s my understanding that we are out of Walkon opportunities. This kid looks OK has good size and a decent set shot but he looks really slow. Not all that excited about this one. Aces Softball coach on the other hand 🤦♂️🤔
