I think the youth of the team has caught up with them. They're about to get run ruled.

Aces at 17-19 after a 13-1 start ... no idea what this means.
SIU is probably at least a regional contender this year with 29 wins already. The state of women's softball is fluid. You get pitching, you contend. Rookie pitchers are going to get lit up.

Aces at 17-19 after a 13-1 start ... no idea what this means… I think it means we have a young team who hit a wall in conference play and the few games before conference play. As you mentioned SIU is pretty good. They are currently 29-5 overall and 10-2 in conference play. Evansville sits at 17-19 and 3-8.

I still think they should be a little better than this. Then again, I don't follow SB like I do baseball.

After a brutal 17-1 loss on Friday to a SIU team that came into the weekend 28-5, the Lady Aces take two close games on Saturday and Sunday: 4-3 and 2-0. Today despite only three hits the entire game for us, we score two runs in the fourth while Weatherford and Brenton hold SIU scoreless on eight hits.
A good weekend and recovery by the Aces.
