The press is great and if it works, it's dynamite. But it's creating some foul problems. Add in these refs think anything resembling a hand check needs to stop play, women's basketball is way too interesting to have officials calling it like it was 1965.

Does anybody else think that Clark shoots like Oscar Robertson?

What a gritty win by the lady aces without davis our leading scorer. Feit got a slow start and griffin too but the team ended the game much better than they started.
Almost went insane on all the foul calls..
We have to get Dupont in the weight room because she often has position and gets easily out-muscled by the defender.
Camarena is looking very promising in the pg role. Still learning but she's really coming along.
Way for them to close out the game despite them having some impressive shooters. Overall a game if we were full strength I feel should have been a 10+ point win, but being shorthanded, I will take it. A valley win is a win. Go aces

The press caused at least 3 TO's, 2 being 10 second violations.

I guessing that Clark had at least 24 points and Feit had 16 or 18 points. I can only recall the 2 long ones by Gala, another by Griffin, 2 free throws by Myshka and 4 by Newman. So that was about half of it by 2 players. Morgan had some points, but nobody else.

Great win. With Davis in the game, it would not have been that close, but Bradley was without their best player also. The Aces will probably win some more games, but rebounding, and half court defense will be a struggle all year.

FWIW I spotted Trey Hall in one of the crowd shots on TV. Good win for the ladies. I only saw the last few minutes but excellent play protecting the late lead.

The men's team needs to watch the ladies play and learn their intensity. Coach really knows how to get through to the ladies and bring them up. I can only recall the 2 long ones by Gala, another by Griffin, 2 free throws by Myshka and 4 by Newman. So that was about half of it by 2 players. Morgan had some points, but nobody else.

I’m happy for the ladies. They didn’t let the 2 losses in Iowa get them down, and while I agree that we need a few adjustments,I also believe that RSW and staff will do what’s needed. This is the kind of win that generates publicity, and it also causes potential recruits to take notice. There are tough games ahead, but I’ll take 7-6 at this point. Under Ruffing we’d be 2-11. Let’s get another W on Sunday.

This 7th win is the most the UE women have recorded since 2017 when they were 14-17. That was Ruffing's first after he was named interim in March 2016. It got progressively worse in a hurry after that.
I think it's hard to project this out with the mish-mash of scheduling that is going to happen more often than not. It's likely they will start crunching games up like they did last year. Not sure how that will affect anything but it's clear that if you plan to survive in women's ball, you need a deep bench. The refs have consistently taken the game away from the players and left it at the foul line. Honestly, it takes a lot of air out of the excitement to see this over-officiating.

The women hung in there and got a big win. There was one Bradley possession in the 4th quarter I think where they called 4 fouls on us, mostly ticky-tack, but didn’t call a foul on Bradley when their player went over the back for an offensive rebound. The Bradley non-foul was the most egregious. It could have been demoralizing but we just kept playing. The possession took 3 or 4 minutes in real time it seemed, and Bradley finally went to the line and missed both free throws. I thought it was big that we kept our composure. I like this team.

Refs just ruin the game with all these cheap ass fouls Agree. Then they don't call the obvious when Feit got fouled in the final 15 seconds.
