Hard to know where to put this but didn't want to open another thread: We need Jevin and Marvin to go get the Mac Daddy before every game after that win!

I don't believe there was any new info that came out of the event. Ziggy gave an overview of the UE Athletics strategic plan, which most of us have seen online. The one thing that he kept saying is how important it is to him that we compete for championships within the MVC. Also noted was how successful our athletes have been academically.
Jevin and Kyle Peach did a mini interview with 4 players from each sport - M/W soccer and volleyball. It was basically an intro and questions like: What do you like about your coach? Any pregame superstitions? Favorite show on TV? Who is the best dressed player on the team? Favorite player? etc. --- I thought there could of been some better questions -- e.g. asking Ryleigh Anslinger what it is like to transfer from Indiana, a huge Big 10 school, to UE.
I will try and list the players that represented each sport - someone else made need to do some corrections.
Volleyball - Melanie Feliciana, Giula Cardona, Brooke Springer and Emilee Scheumann -- all of them are age 21/22+ and the maturity and leadership is very recognizable in each of them. A very impressive group of women.
Women's soccer -- Ryleigh Anslinger (currently injured but hopes to be ready for our next game), Ella Hamner -- and I believe the other 2 were Taylor Johnson and Kaylee Woosley. A couple were a little soft-spoken so I did not catch the name, but do remember all of them were products of Evansville high school teams.
Men's soccer (went a different direction than the women and had all international players) -- Francesco Brunetti (Italy), Patrick Szankowski (Denmark), Ola Arntsen (Norway) and Carlos Garcia (Spain) -- I believe these are correct. It was noted that there are 41 players on the team, with half of them American and half international students. Our interim coach, Robbie Tarver, looks young enough to still be a student.
I am sure someone else can add to this. It was a nice event, outdoors on the patio with great weather and a decent crowd of UE supporters.

We also have hired a guy to replace the position that Brandon McClish previously held. He was at the event and introduced, but I did not catch his name. He officially starts next week, so I am guessing you will see a press release on Monday.

Great crowd, standing room only. Javon interviewed Coach Rags, Antonio and Chuck, then Josh and Tanner.
