I've thought for awhile now that this might be a really good year to go after a player with 4 years of eligibility as you might be able to get a steal with all of the focus on the transfer portal (and the focus on now). Of course, that presumes that the player or players stays four years. I agree 100%. You never know who might slip through the cracks.

Although Malevy would have been a great get, the Aces roster already has a number of bigs for next year. In fact, I can't remember when Evansville has had so many bigs at one time. As opposed to past years, there also appears to be a lot more talent balanced between guards, wings, and bigs. Looks like the Aces will have many options to choose from. They may have better opportunities to match up with an opposing team than in past years. I think our quick guards are going to be a big problem for opposing teams this coming season. Because of the apparent depth to the roster, it may also allow everyone to play more aggressively on both ends ... just my thoughts.
Also, I noticed that Missouri State now has more players on their team than they do roster spots ... and I don't think I was counting the returning seniors like Prim. Verbal commits has their total roster as one over. Maybe someone here sees something that I am not catching? Just curious.

I too like the Aces roster; however, I do think most teams will be better next year...Also I think it would be nice to have a player between 6’4 and 6’8” to match up a little better defensively on some of these teams that have a star player in that range. (Antoine at 6’7” is our only player in that range and then we have to drop down to Noah or Jawan.) So it would be nice to have a very athletic defensive player in this range. Just my personal thought. 2. Yes, I read where Missouri State was one over as well. They are going to be a tough matchup for us and a lot of teams with Prim, Mobley, Clay, etc.

St. is two over as a “fifth year” senior transfer counts against their 13. Players only did not count against the limit if they stayed with the school they were at.

Minnett counts against their schollys for this season because of transferring in, but Prim does not because he was already there as a senior. Same as Frederking and Kuhlman do not count against our 13.
