Really excited about Blake....my hope is he will make an immediate impact and I think he will. I do think the three fall recruits are going to be major contributories at some point.

Wasn't a big Blake fan a couple of years ago but I think he will be okay.Silver Creek had 2 D1 players on roster and only beat HH by 4 points today. One of those players is going to Purdue

Caleb Furst and Blake Sisley are "probably the two best players I’ve played. It’s really fun when you can play a guy of that caliber.”
Trey Kaufman-Renn scored a game-high 21 points to lead @schsboysbball to the Washington Regional final in Class 3A.
Trey Kaufman giving props to Blake Sisley. He's going to be a really good get for us. I'm excited to see him in an Aces uniform.

Sisley leaving his legacy at Heritage Hills duboiscountyherald.com/b/sisley-leaving-his-legacy-at-heritage-hillsThe full comment from Purdue commitTrey Kaufman-Renn mentioned by bleedpurple73: “(Blackhawk Christian senior and Purdue commit Caleb) Furst and Blake are probably the two best players I’ve played," Kaufman-Renn said. "It’s really fun when you can play a guy of that caliber. He’s a hell of a scorer. Just the way we he can put the ball in the basket with so many moves. I’m just adjusting. I’ll make a couple stops and he’ll make a good move and score. Now, I got to worry about that. I just had to adjust and he’s such a good player. I was having fun out there.” (Quote came from this link: www.google.com/amp/s/amp.courier-journal.com/amp/4628293001 )

He will be a day 1 starter imo. Possibly but at the moment it looks like he will have to compete with Evan, Iyen and Trey for probably a couple of starting spots. Last year's starters were Evan, Jax, Noah, Jawaun and Shamar. It is possible all are back except for Jax. A case can certainly be made that any combination of Iyen, Blake or Trey (and Evan) is better than last year's front line of Evan, Jax and Noah. So I think you are likely correct but it definitely won't be handed to him. But he should be a great four year player for the Aces and most definitely will be in the rotation.

I would love for Blake to be a starter from day 1. It would mean that he is a better player from the get-go than several of our returning players. But don't forget that in the last off-season, the consensus of the board was that Trey Hall would start and probably be the key frontline player for us. It did not turn out that way (although I still have high hopes for him.)

We know Givance, Newton, Frederking, and Kuhlman will all probably start at the beginning of the year and will get at least 30 minutes a game. Since we don’t even know if Hall will stay, the fifth starter will either be Sisley or Smith Jr. I’d like these two to split 15- 20 minutes a game at the 4. Enaruna will back up Kuhlman and play more in some games than others. If Hall stays, he should back up Frederking at the 3 with spot minutes at the 4. I expect Boynton, Beauchamp, and Page to back up Givance and Newton.
It’s a little early to predict the lineup. But, I doubt the last two scholarships will be that significant, but who knows.
