Zero chance there was anywhere even close to the announced number last night. Upper deck completely blocked off. The blocked off portions on the end. The seats that UE is able to sell were at least half empty, if not more. I'd be shocked if there was actually 3,250 last night.

No way there was 4400 there last night and the Ford is starting to remind me of LA Dodger home game. Arrive by the 3rd inning and leave by the 7th. I actually thought they were stopping the game at the 4 minute timeout for the number of people that left.

Really can't fault anyone for leaving early.

If the players want to use their coach's suspension as an excuse to, as Evillan said, act like kids with a substitute teacher, they have their excuse. If they decide they're tired and embarrassed about getting their @#$es kicked and decide to do something about it, regardless of who the coach is, they will have their chances to show it in the remaining games. If they choose the excuse route, attendance will only get worse. Fans will support a team giving their all, but are not going to hurry after work or school, or drive in from an hour or two hours away, and spend their money to support a team if that team doesn't look like they care. Chad tweeted the KenPom graph showing the Aces as underdogs in the next 7 games. If they are 0-10 seven games from now, what kind of attendance will there be?

Have usually been late arrivals...but have watched way more early departures lately.

I'm waiting to see if that will change before attending another game in person this year. I'll just watch ESPN+

Last night was terrible for attendance. There was nowhere near the number of people announced. I love UE basketball, but this program is going into the toilet faster than anything I have ever seen.
I have been saying, since Coach McCarty was hired that he was a good choice for recruiting, but I didn't think he could coach that much. I was okay with it, but now that Lickliter and Graves are gone, we are hurting. I feel bad for Seltzer, but he's not going to get it done.
UE needs to resolve this issue right now. I am starting to think we need to can Spencer too. I am just about to throw in the towel. We cannot continue with the uncertainty our program has currently.
Thoughts?

On second thought, I'm going to use my moderating powers on myself. No need to answer that question. We've got enough going on with Coach McCarty.

Announced attendance will always be more than actual,as figure is related to tickets sold....

Okay, I may get pummeled by you fans for this post, but I'm going to say it anyway. Please don't hit me hard..I'm a woman and not that young! This is to the team...
I realize how difficult and depressing this is to everyone concerned, including and probably the MOST difficult for the young men who have committed their basketball careers to UE basketball. We fans all get it...you have been given a knock-down punch and you still have to get up and run down that floor on game night...has to be hard to do. But I am just going to say it: You still are a Purple Ace. You still represent UE and the Evansville community. You still are the team that beat KY. You still have the skills and talent that got you your spot on a Div. 1 team. So what do you do now?
Show some: Fight, Pride, Energy, Competitiveness, and play like you "Give A Damn"!
Who knows...maybe you'll show the basketball world just how tough Aces basketball can be! I was one of the fans who left early from the Bradley game because I didn't recognize my team that hung their heads and wallowed in whatever that was on Wed. night....I think we hit rock bottom, and it is time to stop this free fall and give our opponents something to say about us other than how we have just given up!

This isn't Roberts Stadium in 1965, how in the world does the Facebook Ford Center expect to draw a crowd with crappy internet? I'm just asking because at any given time in a game, 500 "fans" are tweeting or looking at Facebook feeds of political memes and kitty cats.

Honestly think Cunliffe will go pro if he gets any kind of an offer. Cunliff couldn't play in a YMCA league as of now
