I just recently deleted from my DVR.
If only they played like that all year. Evan with DW down it could have been much different,

I was there, with 2nd row seats thanks to a great customer. That night was one of the greatest nights I have had as an Aces fan.
With everything that happened since, it seems meaningless, or even painful. Maybe I am alone, and just nuts, but I have no desire to watch it, or relive it in any form.

Just way too painful for me to watch...just can't do it. Meaningless, like yourself, is the closest word I can use to how it all feels.

I have it on my DVR. I have yet to watch it. Maybe some day I will. Maybe I will delete it, and forget this season ever happened.

ESPN ranked UE over UK as the #7 moment in college basketball this year.

I've watched it a few times since being there in the 2nd to last row in the upper deck. On one hand it shows what could have been but on the other it highlights at least to me what is possible for this program as well as the roster coming back next season.
It will always be a point of pride, regardless of the revisionist history about guys being sick, hurt, etc for UK that night. On that particular evening the better team won for the 40 minutes. Period. Our Aces went into their building, a very muted Rupp and never let it get loud. Every single time they needed to get a bucket to stop things from really getting going, we found a way.
I wondered if showing the team the film of the game wouldn't have been a bad idea. It put some expectations, perhaps unfair on the team for the rest of the season but that night we were tougher and made plays when we needed to, something that eluded the squad most of the rest of the season.
It illustrates the beauty of the game of basketball, the ability to believe on any given night for 40 minutes anything might just happen. Although the season went in a direction none of us could have fathomed, this is a game I will remember for the rest of my days.

I’m on board. So bored staying at home, might as well watch a happy moment. Remember folks, don’t let happy memories in your life die just because you have unhappy ones. Besides, it shows we came back once and we can rise from the ashes again.

It’s amazing how different the team looks - playing hard and with confidence.

We played like a TEAM, saw some of our regular turnovers in ball handling and in shot-clock violations, but we played with confidence and determination. Watching this (first time I saw the televised game in its entirety) was bitter-sweet. Sweet- because it gives me hope to see many of these same players next year playing well. Bitter - because of the damage done to our proud program because of what was to come a few weeks later following the UK win.
How WM must feel to know what his decisions in his life did to our basketball future...and what he threw away, tearing down his own dreams and taking us all with him. Bitter to see him there coaching on the sideline and being interviewed after the game...all in great respect for him and watching the team celebrate with their coach after the victory. If our upset of KY was #7 in ESPN's basketball moments for the year, what came next for the Purple Aces had to top that (at least for the Aces, the university, the community and the fans.
