Besides needing to get some big men to play the 5 spot Gabriel Pozzatto could be a real difference maker for UE. He has a game that could really take off in the Valley and he’s good for 4 years if he chooses to stay. Maybe he could room with Gui.

That’s an important visit, I really like his game a lot. Having a compatriot in Gui can only help. And we have the right guys at the helm who have an infectious desire to fix this program.

After watching many of Pozzatto’s highlight videos I see a replacement for CB3. This kid has a lot of upside. I’m sure Rags and his staff can elevate his play to be a really good Valley guard. I hope we can get him signed. I haven’t counted roster spots but sounds like there is a chance that Gabriel and CB3 could be on the roster. Time will tell.

I’d hate if he had to be a replacement for Chuck. I want him to play with Chuck. Almost feels like Chuck is dipping his feet to see what’s out there, and if that’s what is in his ears, I can’t blame him. But I feel with each passing day and the fact he has now publicly only said glowing things about UE, he stays. Players like Gabriel attack and are shooters best friends. I’d love to have them both. Players like Chuck haven’t come here in the past. He’s the type of athlete we don’t get here and has so much potential. The CIT only showed that. Without Yacine and Ben, Chuck was our motor and we ran through him.

www.prospectiveinsight.com/post/2023-academy-games"Gabriel Pozzato 2024 | 6’6” Wing | Italy/Brazil | NBA Global Academy | 18.2 Pozzato is a high motor, tough, two-way wing with flashes of shooting equity and aggressive, high flying finishing. A team-first hustler that is willing to do the little things, Pozzato looked the part of a scalable culture guy that will work to find a niche with the shooting potential and defense to get him on the court early."

Looks super athletic, I wonder if this is the same league Josh Hughes played in last year?

Looks super athletic, I wonder if this is the same league Josh Hughes played in last year? Yes, same team. Josh mentioned in an interview that they don't play many games. It's mainly practicing.

Those are some gruesome warehouses where they play. The one looks like a giant greenhouse.
