Free Throws another killer. We will get another W or two this year I feel. Need Ben healthy and back asap. We match up better with UNI than some of the other teams. Better effort tonight. Anytime Pollard is a ref we need another 2 points from Vegas. lol
Go Aces !

Not saying the rotations are correct as obviously the starting unit dug a hole for us at the start of both halves. However, five guys cannot play 40 minutes either. So, the other guys have to step up their games (whenever they are on the floor) if we are to win this game. So, it is a little bit of both. Agree to stick with the hot hands as much as you can. Rags, generally does that pretty good later in the second half. Blake did

The disappointing thing is the guys who failed, and continue to fail to step up without Ben, are seniors and 5th year players with the most college basketball experience on the team They have to be showing the way. They absolutely are not.

It was a much better effort and performance- I can live with that. Once again the lineup that played well in the Valpo game was the difference. Bailey, Cuff, Haffner, Toumi and then a mix of different guys as the 5th player. That group dug us out of the hole dug by the disastrous starting group that stunk up the place both halves and multiple halves this season. I really don’t want to ever see that lineup again. Other than that - lots of positives to hopefully build on going into some winnable games

Team really lacks a decent point guard on both sides of the ball. Thomas looked decent early on but is now over matched in Valley play. Hafner and Bailey are the best we have at guard and need more playing time along with Cuff.

Pretty much anyone could play 40 minutes; but we want guys playing at a high level for 40 minutes. There is not many guys that can play 40 minutes at a high level. That is why guys get rested.

I said it after the Drake game and I'm going to say it again....Why are Bobe, Thomas and Strawbridge Still Starting and playing so many minutes? They had a total of 10 points tonight, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 6 turnovers. 2 - 5th year seniors and a 6th year senior They are not worthy to Play....they don't offer Any Leadership for the team.

If I counted correctly, those three are part of an eight-man rotation (with Ben out). I can't disagree with starting Yacine, Josh, Chuck, Cam and Tanner (if Ben is out and the match ups are right). But I also see those guys needing some rest and we need a backup point guard, so Kenny and Antonio should be getting some minutes (whether they start or not). Gage's minutes should be limited. He can provide a 3-point shooting threat when the matchups are favorable and an extra man in the rotation is needed; but he shouldn't be having more than spot minutes here and there unless our other guards are hurt. Just my two or three cents.
