The University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis team has only two players over 6'4" and they both are 6'6". This should be a game where all play.

UHSP has a very small enrollment:
University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis has a total undergraduate enrollment of 255 (fall 2022), with a gender distribution of 35% male students and 65% female students. In sports, University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis is part of the NAIA.
Simple math says they have around 90 men (enrolled) at their school and 11 of those are on the basketball roster.

Men's team once lost 101 games in a row. All you need to know about the Eutectics is Grace Beyer. Leads all NAIA national women in scoring for the 4th year in a row, shoots 88 pct. at the line, usually getting 20 or more per-game attempts ... and has well over 3,000 points. She was recruited by Big 10 schools Iowa and Minnesota, the Dakota D-1 schools as well. Scored 67 in one game. www.eutecticsports.com/sports/wbkb/2023-24/bios/beyer_grace_5wxx

Surely there was a better school to schedule than this one! Could this be the worst school that's ever been on the Aces schedule?

Surely there was a better school to schedule than this one! Could this be the worst school that's ever been on the Aces schedule? Certainly in my lifetime and my memory. I can’t really speak for the pre-1970s though. But on the surface yes. Can’t see playing someone like Chuck (super athletic) or Josh or Ben (super tall) very long. We need to try to keep everyone healthy coming out of this game (especially the rotation players) and give everyone playing time and just have fun. Presuming the walk-ons and scholarship players who have not played yet are available, I can’t see the rotation players really playing much in the second half.

One team that comes to mind was Midway University (KY) in 2017. I believe it was an exhibition game played in December. Midway led most of the first half but UE pulled out a big win with a strong second half. I believe Midway was made up with mostly guards.
I don’t know what to think about tomorrow’s game though. I just hope no one gets injured for such a meaningless game.

It's a game so I am looking forward to it. If it is clearly in the bag by halftime, I will enjoy seeing some walk-ons take the floor. Subbing in the Walk-on Five might seem a little too condescending but I would still love to see it.

(insert weird-faced emoticon here).

That tune up didn’t work out so well. Duke won 104-40. Let’s get past Thursday and get on with the regular season.

i understand there will be free drugs at halftime passed out. Can not believe they have a basketball team. Oakland City was busy? Terrible game for schedule. Hope we don't screw up and loss.

Surely there was a better school to schedule than this one! Could this be the worst school that's ever been on the Aces schedule? I'd us play Oakland City again, or please bring back the Kentucky Wesleyan game every season. Although, I am not sure we would win that game this year. Us playing St. Louis College of Pharmacy (what I knew this College was named) is probably worse than ISU(b) playing St. Mary's of the Woods. Which, by the way ISU won by 28 pts, playing mostly subs in 2nd half. St. Mary's was an all girls college until approximately 10 years ago.

Central Methodist beat UHSP 116-60. I’m sure we won’t play our regulars as much as normal but I still can’t see this game being within 20 points, like many of the predictions are on that thread.

They don’t have anybody over 6’6” on their roster. One assumes that being tall isn't a requirement for being a pharmacist or health care professional. These are not guys who went to May-Lynn Academy because they needed that to be eligible for the team.
