I will be interested to see how the NCAA doles out its decisions on transfers this year. You can make a case for damned near anything now, ranging from having a semester ripped apart to being afraid of flying. I honestly would prefer they just 'let 'em play' and if a kid is enrolled when school opens, he has to stay there. Continuity of the programs right now can be put on hold. If this tragedy passes this summer, being nit-picky over eligibility is kind of peculiar.

Correct, but the other numbers I believe are his stronger selling points. 28 minutes, 4.9 assists, 9.3 points per game.

East looks like a good get. Make all kinds of shots. Has the tear drop .3 distance . Mid range . We should make all out effort for him There is a guy from Maryland that just entered transfer portal that could be good in the MVC.

Perhaps, but the "assists" on a 14-17 record squad don't ring much of a bell in my book. Curious WHY he journeyed near Boston, MA to play college ball...because his HS chum, Romeo Langford, was nearby warming the Celtic bench?
Here's a nice early-season article on East:

As of now...Winter sports are screwed for eligibility. We may have lost 2....season isn't here yet and NCAA hasn't showed their hand for Winter sports. When that happens...it will be interesting to see what happens here and elsewhere. Either way...come August...we will look different next year.

I think if you don't get the East kid, you should not be overly disappointed.

If I remember East was like 5'10" his senior year at New Albany. So schools became interested at 6' 3" not 5 10. North high school had a 6'1" foward years ago, went to a JC and played PG grew to 6'3" and went to Wisconsin and played a lot for the Badgers

I think he grew from 6-1 to about 6-8 in a summer or two. Not counting that's hard on the bone marrow for some people, it's a blessing for kids who can handle the ball. Of course the most famous growth spurt is David Robinson at Navy. I suppose there are others.

There seems to be a lot of transfers in the MVC according to Verbal Commits.

Ok...here we go...its gonna be a wild and hated ride through this one. I think everyone we brought in for this year (Sam, Art, Deandre and Peace) are gone. There might actually be one or two more depending on their academic status (Throwing Hall, Kuhlman and Frederking in this group). One thing that somewhat bothered me, the last part of the season, is what was going on with Tomasi and Marcus (one or both could also join initial list)? Per the usual, word on these types of things out of the UE camp is sometimes tough information to come by. I hope I am wrong, but there are a few signs that make me lean the opposite way (class enrollment, playing time, dressing for games, game attendance and attitude on the floor). My fellow die-hard Purple and Orange Peeps, I am simply stating a plausible possibility and definitely not a given fact. I guess we will all know the roster come next August...be it a current or revamped one. Where do you get your information because you have been wrong many times. Not sure just how wrong I am....also give me examples of just how wrong I have been about this year
