After this very sad day for UE basketball, it'd be great to get a really large crowd tomorrow night to show support to our kids.
Come on, let's try to fill at least the bottom. Get the student section filled up, it was basically empty Saturday.
Everybody spread the word. Maybe that will help our kids to stay here.

I have to say...now is the time for the players to start deserving a full house. We have been there and supported the team from the start of the season. We have been drug through the floorboards of hell right along with them. The fans have continued to show up and support them. I cannot say the players have played to their potential and there are quite a few posters on here who have backed up that statement with their comments. The decision has been made...now is the time for the players to make a decision as well. If they want to continue to have us..they need show us they are worthy and truly desire our being there. Now please dont think I'm throwing away my support. I am just saying it is really hard to support the type of ball I have been watching. I hope as stated we once again rise from the depths. I just want our players to understand and appreciate that they havent gone through this alone.

I've been very disappointed and have voiced that frustration. It certainly is a positive to hire Todd Lickliter to jump right in and try to get this thing turned around.
I'll be there tomorrow. Certainly expect the players to show up, too. No more lack of effort. Bust your butts, Aces ... work together, and get this going!!! Be aggressive and expect to WIN!

I am firmly on record opposing giving Lick the full-time job, but I'm 100% in favor of fans packing the Ford Center tomorrow to show their support for the team and the program.

See, I would like to come, but we’ve been stuck with Wednesday night games for years. I have church on Wednesday nights, so I’ve only been to one conference game I think?? Doug Elgin contacted my dad a few years back and discussed fan support/scheduling, but I guess one fan’s opinion is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. It would just be nice to have a Tuesday or Thursday night game every once in a while just to test how attendance fluctuates. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. Everyone has conflicts I presume though!

I am all for packing the Ford! We have to keep in mind that we don’t know what all these KIDS have gone through. We know bits and pieces to a whole puzzle of information. They have been there to hear and see and know much more than any of us. This situation has been enough to shake some fans enough to make them throw in the towel, imagine how the players feel. Let’s show up and let the players and coaches know we believe that we can rise!

If ever a team and coach needed a full, loud Ford Center it is Wed. night! I am sick of what has hurt so many in this whole situation, and even feel sick for our coach (if he is indeed guilty of such stupid behavior) and his family. I have been disappointed in the lack of effort in recent games, but I can only imagine how negatively this has affected our team. I feel sad. I feel angry. But now is the time for us fans to stand up beside our team and new coach and show that we are still here...and we're ready to come roaring back!
Go Purple ACES...We are with you!

As a third generation ticket holder, never considered NOT going during this time.
A fellow alumn who adjuncts texted me that 3 players were in his class at 6 pm last night just shortly after the news broke. Imagine the stress they've been through and then still showing up to class.

Everyone has conflicts I presume though! Since it is a 10 hour drive for me, I won’t be making the game. I will also be at church, at choir practice. But here’s what I do: I have the game on espn+ on my phone and hold my phone inside the music. Unbeknownst to the director (at least I think it’s unbeknownst), I am watching the game. This may help account for the fact that the bass section is generally more on top of things on Sunday morning than at rehearsal. If I were in your shoes, however, I think you could argue that when you went to the game, you were on a mission from God. 😀
