Thanks for sharing. He would definitely be a good get for Evansville. Those are some really good numbers (on the video) for presumably his junior year. Is he playing against decent competition and still putting up those numbers? That little James Harden step back could be called travelling (outside the NBA) - if not, that is pretty much unstoppable if he can hit that shot because of the separation that he gets on it. He really goes strong to the basket and finishes good (in the video); even if he didn't make those shots, he is likely to get some foul calls on the defense with his knack for going strong to the basket and creating contact if anyone comes into his space. Very strong, heady basketball player with a very high basketball IQ from what I saw in the video. Glad Evansville is expressing interest. Will be a tough one to reel in with the competition for him. Hoping the coaches stay after him.

If Wisconsin, Loyola, and Belmont are interested we are looking in the right place.

If Wisconsin, Loyola, and Belmont are interested we are looking in the right place. Agreed. Just not sure we can compete as his stock increases; but you don't know if you don't try. Probably can't go for every kid like this as the odds are stacked against us; but I agree if we pick a few of these kids like this and go hard for them we can get a few of them that are in the area or at least the state.

it is hard to tell about quality of competition. Central Noble is an area with a pretty nice tradition otherwise. Looking at their schedule, 24-2, but there are some real turkeys on that list. I hope the guy has some physical tools. That is a 2-A school.
This is the sort of player who could thrive in the MVC. Make the team, play the game. Frederking did it for 4 years.

The list is long for top quality teams knocking on his door.Teams like Xavier, Purdue and Creighton are on the recruiting list. Belmont has already offered. The fact that UE was showing interest is a good sign we are looking in the right places.
You have to like an Indiana kid who as a Junior averaged 25 ppg and shot around 60% from 2-point range and 40% from 3-point range. All while grabbing more than 7 rpg. As for his competition two of our best, Jerry Sloan and Don Buse didn’t come up through the playgrounds of NYC.

Not sure how big a deal it is but wanted to point out that even though Connor is in Indiana he's about as far away as you can get and still be in the state of Indiana - over 300 miles and five hours away in the north east corner of the state. Not sure if this decreases our chances (any more) compared to him being just down the road.
It's been pointed out on this site many times that you never know what a kid is looking for in a college.

For sure, he climbs over a half-dozen D-1 programs between Trine and the Tri-State, which doesn't include Ohio and Michigan schools. To be honest, I don't know how many people up "this way and east" even think Evansville is in Indiana. Hell, half the people here in Valpo have never even considered going to a game here but would drive through a foot of snow to watch IU play.

Trust me, if/when my daughter gets her first scholarship offer, she will be tweeting too.

Connor received an offer from Wisconsin. Wow, definitely solidifies that we are going after some very good recruits. Thanks for sharing.

UE did not make his "Final 7." Per his Twitter account.
