Maybe that’s why Coach Lick held back on filling two scholarships in addition to the one turned back by Conliffe. He might have been signaled by two of the players that they would request the additional year so their scholarships are not currently available. Sam’s is being banked for a mid year transfer or will be used during the Spring signing period. Coach Lick is thinking about 5 steps ahead of everyone else.

I don't think the extra year for seniors counts against the scholarship total. May be wrong!

But for succeeding years, it is back to 13. But remember that everybody who plays this year gets an extra season.

Is the extra year just for seniors?

Is the extra year just for seniors? It's for everybody. To keep them from red-shirting amidst the uncertainty.

Blaise off to a great start his first 2 games, I think this guy is a shooter. 8/13 from 3 to start the year.

Lincoln Trail bowled over Wabash Valley 88-70 and Blaise put up 38 points. Help is on the way. Now if we can just get that big #5 to fill the middle to bang with Blake Sisley our #5 finish in the Valley will be a low point going forward.

Maybe Blaise can convince the 5-Star MarJon Beauchamp to join him here for 1 year?? All I know is that he retweets some of MarJon's posts. Are they somehow related?

I don’t know if they are related in any way, but Blaise attended a prep school in Scottsdale, AZ while MarJon attended a prep school in Phoenix, AZ. I’m sure they played in games against each other and their same last name could have led to a friendship. Blaise is from Minneapolis and MarJon is from Seattle. I will have to say that a lineup that included Beauchamp, Beauchamp and Curtis would take the Aces out of consideration for a PIG game while they are here. Nothing like 4 and 5 star recruits to change the landscape. Even 2 out of those 3 is pretty good.
