Interesting. I didn’t expect to have Yacine back anyways, but I wasn’t expecting him to return to college. I guess the scouts told him he needs to use all his eligibility. Will be interesting to see if they try to get him back. I think we’ve been recruiting like he won’t be returning, so I would expect to see someone else depart if Yacine comes back. Bhum prob said “Dude, do you know how much they want to pay me to play reserve minutes!!!!! Go find a desperate P5 and Get PAID man!!”

I am not sure that losing Toumi is a woe-is-us saga. It's not like Yacine Toumi is some sort of unique cyborg talent that comes along once in a generation. With another summer of work, Josh Hughes is better than Toumi all over the court. If Rags is rebuilding the program, then rebuild it.

Well, wherever he ends up I hope his coach looks him straight in the eyes an says "YOU'RE A FORWARD", Do not take the ball at the top of the key and fumble, hop, skip drive the lane and let a little guard take the ball away from you.

Marcus quickly out there selling our players I would say there is no longer such a thing as “our players”. It is Portal Kombat, and the kids aren’t going to stay loyal to institutions that aren’t loyal to them. Case in point look how many Evansville kids were shown the door the past couple of years. The question you have to ask is why would a kid be loyal when he has upside when the school isn’t loyal if doesn’t have upside? I’m choosing to remember Marcus Wilson as one of my top 10 favorites Aces players. No matter what Marcus does or doesn’t do, it won’t change Toumi’s status.

I'd say, as it was stated on this board the other day, we're rooting for the name on the front of the jersey, not the name on the back of it. That was probably always true for people who weren't close to the program, but it always felt like we knew these guys and rooted for them to have a great life. Now, I wish for them to have a great life, but I don't give 3 squats about how many minutes Coach Crush gives them at A&M.

Would love to get Nick Book with the last one. I think our best #13 scholarship would best be used for a 3-pt shooter with college experience over 40%. A grad transfer would be best. However I would love to see Nic Book. He’s a Reed Jackson player only about 3 inches taller. It’s hard to beat a hard nosed kid.

Awesome commitment from Turnbull! Now, either sign Book or get Bailey to return.

I’m pretty confident the staff will look to fill the final scholarship with a guard. I’ve hard we’re trying to make a strong push for Davion Bailey because of his pre-existing relationship with Tayshawn. Not sure if that’s gotten us anywhere but that’s what I was told a few weeks ago when he entered. I’d like to see the final scholly go to a guard with the last name Bailey. Whether it’s Chuck or Davion.

Not very good on defense but he can fill it up, would take him for sure.

This whole Transfer TOILET bullshit is turning me off on college basketball.I will continue to root for our Aces and Eagles but it will be hard to get attached to any players because you dont know if they will be back.
