My experience was similar to yours Evillan. Last Friday, I got a text from one of my sons about McCarty. I immediately went to PAF, and there already were comments. Through the afternoon, I kept checking for any info I could. We were out to dinner that evening, and after finishing my meal, I did what any Aces fan would do on a day like that, I pulled out my phone to check PAF. To my surprise, there had been no comments for over 2 hours. How could that be? Then I saw the "Farewell " post. That was almost unbelievable. On a day when the forum was needed most, it was taken away. I remember thinking the rest of the season just wouldn't be the same without the game critiques, the contests, etc. Saturday morning I found this site, and can't thank you enough. Good luck with this site, and I hope it becomes the best in the Valley and one of the best in the nation.

Please keep an assortment of Irish spirits, on the shelf. Thx, COUTEAU I guess I can recap the bottle of Glenlivet 18 I was going to pour you. Scots & Irish, both kinda take credit for the same peat whiskey. Personally, I'm a blended lad. Don't get me wrong, I'll snatch that 18 year old single barrel, right off the shelf, if you turn your head. But, if you're gonna keep a Sot back there? Make it, 'Johnnie Blue' & I may never leave.

Update to the structure of the board.
We have created a new board section on here called Roberts Stadium. It is for discussing historical aspects of the program. Great games, players or any memories you may have of the history of the program.
In addition, we have received comments that the contests are cluttering up the main thread. We have created a category on the Roberts board for archived contests. We will keep the current and most recent ones on the main board so everyone is more likely to see them.

Thanks for the forum.I like this setup better than the Purple code. So far I believe this forum is a little tamer than the code.

Minor request: can we update the color of hyperlinks to orange or something? Currently they're a barely-different shade of purple and easy for people to miss.

I have been playing around with this, and it seems every time I manage to get the links changed, it changes the color of all the thread titles as well. I guess they are considered links. I am afraid they will be harder to see. I will try it and see how it works.
