I've got a feeling (by searching his Twitter account) that there is a Craig Snow connection here.

Couldn’t we do a little baseball trade here. Yoder for Bobe and a player to be named later.
Seriously, Yoder could put some D-1 experience in the backcourt with an ability to score and still allow our young players time to develop. At 6-4 he puts size at the guard spot an he was a starter at IW during his time there. Also, he’s an Indiana kid who was recruited by UE out of high school.

How is his 3-point shooting? We need a consistent outside shooting threat. That should be high on the list on whether he is a possibility to bring in/offer.

How is his 3-point shooting? We need a consistent outside shooting threat. That should be high on the list on whether he is a possibility to bring in/offer. His stats show he doesn’t take a lot of 3-pointers but he makes about 39% of them. His overall shooting percentage is about 44% so his midrange game is decent. On the brite side his FT shooting is around 78%. Also, Charlie is only a Sophomore. I admit we need much stronger distance shooting from our guards but how many good 3-point shooters are looking to transfer and how many of those would be interested in UE? Probably none. That puts us back into the HS recruiting and finding your shooters there. With the college distance and the speed of the game and defenses we are back to Gump’s box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get. Recent comments by Coach Rags seem to indicate he is not real interested in using BB’s scholarship right now especially with who’s in the portal.

Does anyone know if he would be eligible immediately. He has the highest shooting % of all players listed in the courier article

I feel like this guy has been mentioned before. At least the highlights looked somewhat familiar. Regardless we definitely need more shooting on the team. Completely agree. Appears to have a pretty good shots based on the stats. Only guy on our team even close to 39% on threes is Smith Jr.

You figure he would be looking to go someplace quickly. Un less he sits the rest of this year out and then becomes eligible next January 2024.

He’s either eligible immediately in January 2023 (I don’t think that’s how NCAA rules work personally, but not sure it’s been tested yet) or he’s eligible at the beginning of next season. The only way his eligibility is delayed to January 2024 would be waiting until middle of the 23 fall semester to make a decision. I personally hope they wait until March before burning that scholarship up. I’d rather not make a decision with limited options that we’ll have to stand behind for two years. Not saying I don’t want him to be an Ace eventually, but I’d like to know who’s all interested in helping Ragland rebuild with a full portal first.

I can almost promise you that Blaise won’t be the last to transfer out this year. If this kid is good enough to go after in 6 months, then it stands to reason he is good enough to go after now. He has 6 weeks to enroll in a new school.

I’m just saying I think there will be a plethora of more talented options available by April, and I won’t lose sleep over Charlie committing elsewhere because Rags decided to wait to see who all is available before committing a scholarship. If the staff wants him now, I trust their judgement and support that too. Hopefully he’s eligible to play immediately. I know a starting spot he could fill….

It will interesting to see where Yoder goes.He says he has 2 years of eligibility. So I'm thinking he wont play anywhere the 2nd semester then transfer to a school where he can finish up his 2 years of eligibility.

Why are we already discussing about players transferring from UE next year.
