Logan has two guards that can shoot and a 6’10 guy that avg. 7/5. Vincennes has a kid who is 6’5 and can score I’ve seen him play a couple times. Ragland and Snow were at the VU vs. Wabash Valley in January in Vincennes. Wabash has a 6’9” who is a monster but my son said he is slow and can’t make free throws.

I believe Tanner is still injured but his school (Salt Lake Community College) is playing in the JUCO Championships this week. His team is 29-4 annd the #5 seed and averaged 100.3 ppg this year. /photo/1

He played 7 minutes in their most recent game with one foul, idk about him. I don’t think he has played since November 14th when he logged 26 minutes. As previously mentioned in this thread, according to a Courier article back in December, he broke a bone in his hand. Not sure where you are seeing the seven minute stats. Hopefully he will be ready for summer practice. He definitely seems to be a team player - his high school and JUCO have done very well. He seems to be more of a taller point guard (or possibly a point forward).

I was reading about John A Logan winning yesterday and somehow I came across this box score and assumed it was this year at nationals, but I looked back last night It was last year March 17, 2022.

Maybe he can petition for a medical redshirt and have 3 years of eligibility left when he comes to UE. I am worried about this kid being an MVC level player though....

I think he should qualify for the medical redshirt. I have my concerns as well. Hopefully we’re all pleasantly surprised, but the way I currently see it, we don’t have anyone on the roster or coming in as a recruit that is capable of running the point next year. That’s a major concern for me and one I hope the coaches address in the portal. If Tanner qualifies for a medical redshirt, I see no harm in bringing in a one year guy to run the point while he continues to develop.
