Looking over highlights from Michael Day’s Junior year in Idaho I noticed he shared the frontline with Tyler Medaris who is 6-7 and the leading scorer on the Middleton team. Tyler was also named the Idaho 4A Player of the Year. Tyler is returning to Middleton this year which may have contributed to Michael moving to prep school in Albuquerque, NM. Quite possibly the move was to allow Michael to further develop his own game his senior year. He’s a very good student so that wasn’t an issue.
What will be interesting is to see how he plays during his senior year. His college decision is complete and he will be free to play his game.

I noticed the other guy doing a lot of damage underneath on Michael's highlight video. but didn't know his credentials! Tyler was making some great moves and dunks, too. In addition, I noticed quite a few nice interior passes between the two of them, and to other team mates as well. I see where the Middleton HS team went 25-3 overall and 14-0 in their conference. Maybe Tyler will be keeping an eye on how the Aces do this year?

I also saw that he played with Tyler Medaris, the 4A Idaho Player of the Year. Note: Tyler has already committed to Utah Valley.

Big boy we can definitely use. We'll see how Coach Ragland 's recruits work out. From my perspective, he's done a great job-the kids will just have to prove him right.
I pray next year will be a major improvement. These last few years have been difficult.

Hard to find much on Michael Day for a couple of reasons: (1) A very common name; and (2) He seems to be pretty modest and doesn’t retweet often his highlights. On a side note: During my search I did find a 2024 6’4” combo guard that seems to be pretty good named Marcus Wilson. That would be hoot if we recruited him and Marcus coached him. Already has offers from New Mexico, Fresno State and Washington State. www.verbalcommits.com/players/marcus-wilson-nm
